2) "Swedish studies 15-25-35" for students who don't speak Swedish at home but who have participated at least two years in the Saturday program of the Swedish Language School.
The students in both programs are taught grammar, oral and written Swedish, Swedish literature, knowledge of the Swedish society, Swedish history, geography and participate in cultural practice (Swedish crafts and cooking, holiday celebrations and assisting teachers in the Saturday classes of the Swedish language School etc).
As the two course are at high school level, the students are given lots of homework, unit tests and a final exam.
A minimum of a 50% mark in each of 15-25-35 level class will earn the student 5 credits towards the Alberta Senior High School Diploma.
